How Hungry Are You?

I’ve worked with a large number of beauty therapists over the years. Some really stand out and some are instantly forgettable.

Then, out of the therapists that stand out there is a mix. Some stand out for being great and some stand out for all the wrong reasons and don’t tend to last that long.

Obviously, as a business owner I want a nice mix of personalities and abilities but if I was offered a choice, I’d want exceptional beauty therapists every time. More than that… they’ve got to want it.

The one thing I’ve noticed about all the therapists that are exceptional is that they take their career much more seriously – it’s not just a job to them.

If you don’t enjoy your job as a beauty therapist, or if you are not looking to progress your career you best watch your back because another therapist, hungrier and more willing to learn, is going to come along and you’ll get left behind.

Why waste your college training?

Why not take full advantage of the salon experience you have available to you and become better. Not just the beauty side of things, but with colleagues, with customers, with your all-round salon skills.

If this doesn’t sound appealing… perhaps you’re in the wrong job.
