Setting Up Analytics On Your Salon Website

Optimising A Salon Website – Part One

This is the first in a series of videos following me optimise a website for a beauty salon in Northern Ireland called Be Beautiful.

Victoria contacted me about something and we chatted online about optimising the website to make it work harder. She agreed to let me play with the website, and optimise it to get more traffic.

Ultimately, a good beauty salon website is all about making sure it delivers you the business, whether that’s new clients, getting information across to existing clients or making sure you are in the mix when potential clients are searching.

This first video shows two things. Firstly, it shows me loading Google Analytics onto the website so that we can begin to track traffic.

The second part of the video shows me using a tool called Positionly to track where the website sits for specific keywords.

The video is around 12 minutes long and shows me loading these tools real-time on to the beaity salon website for Be Beautiful.
